Dollar Tree Raising Prices 25% – Everything Will Now Cost $1.25

Recently, the company announced that it plans to raise prices from $1 to $1.25 on the majority of its products by early 2022. This shift reflects the impossibility of discount retailers keeping prices down while inflation rates continue to rise.

The price hike is also expected to help the company deal with historically high merchandise cost increases and pay raises for its employees. CEO Michael Witynski said,

“For 35 years, Dollar Tree has managed through inflationary periods to maintain the everything-for-one-dollar philosophy that distinguished Dollar Tree and made it one of the most successful retail concepts for three decades…. This is the appropriate time to shift away from the constraints of the $1.00 price point in order to continue offering extreme value to customers. This decision is permanent.”

2019 NYS Fair: New parking lot to be FREE for remainder of fair

Parking in the Willis Lot, one of the new parking lots at the New York State Fair this year, will be FREE for the remainder of the 2019 fair. The price was originally $5.

The lot, located less than a mile from the fairgrounds, is accessible to the fairgrounds via a free Centro shuttle that runs between the lot and Gate 10 of the fairgrounds.

New York State Fair to Charge $2 for Bottled Water

In previous years, you could purchase bottles of water for $1 at various vendors.

DirecTV Now

AT&T has confirmed that it is increasing the price of DirecTV Now by $5 on all base packages, so the $35 a month plan for 60+ channels will be now $40 a month.

Sling TV

Sling Orange plan is increasing from $20 to $25 a month. However, $25 is still the cheapest way to switch to a live TV streaming service and get ESPN.
