Parking in the Willis Lot, one of the new parking lots at the New York State Fair this year, will be FREE for the remainder of the 2019 fair. The price was originally $5.
The lot, located less than a mile from the fairgrounds, is accessible to the fairgrounds via a free Centro shuttle that runs between the lot and Gate 10 of the fairgrounds.
Did you know? Onondaga County Public Libraries offer County and New York State Parks Passes. With your library card, passes can be checked out for a three-day loan and allow free entry to a great variety of local and state parks. Some parks (like the Rosamond Gifford Zoo) allow for up to four visitors, while others allow one personal vehicle when the Library Parks Pass is presented at the gate.

Bottles of water at the 2018 New York State Fair will now each cost a minimum of $2, according to fair officials.
In previous years, you could purchase bottles of water for $1 at various vendors.

Tomorrow (February 22nd, 2018), the New York State Fair will be offering a one day “Midway Madness” sale on ticket and ride packages. This sale will begin at 6 am EST and probably will sell out fast. This sale is in celebration of the 2018 NYS Fair being only six months away (opening on Wednesday August 22nd).
